    January 4th, 2019 Today’s post involves goblins!  They’re known to be a type of fae, usually portrayed to have their own court in Faery/ Fairy.  Some stories have them as always looking monstrous, other stories have them looking like your average glamorous fae, then morphing into a monstrous form when angry.     Anyone who knows me for even a few minutes knows that I love books! And I love fairy tales! So of course this blog post was in the coming. 🙂   I read East 15 years ago when it was first released and still fondly remember how much I loved this story, I love it still. East is a retelling of Norwegian fairy tale “East of the Sun, West of the Moon,” by Edith Pattou.   • First Post: GIRL PIRATES!

    This post’s theme is Girl Pirates! Magic of Blood & Sea by Cassandra Rose Clarke is awesome!  It features Ananna, pirate princess, and Naji, a ninja-type assassin sent to kill her when she runs away from an arranged marriage.  This book is actually two books in one: The Assassin’s Curse, and The Pirate’s Wish.  I had the pleasure of reading these books when they were first published, and they’re so much fun!  I absolutely love “enemies-turned-allies-turned-lovers” plot, and this one does not disappoint!  Ananna inadvertently manages to activate a curse against herself and Naji by saving his life, chaining them together until they manage to complete three impossible tasks, taking…
